Aswanley, still a much loved family home, is a unique venue suitable for both sumptuous wedding receptions, intimate family gatherings and elopements.
The barn has a series of interconnecting rooms with the fireplace room at the centre. Your ceremony can be held indoors or outdoors to suit the style of your day – in the garden, outside the barn or in the ballroom. For smaller weddings the fireplace room can be used for the ceremony, reception or both. And if that’s not small enough, escape into the hills to their elopement hut for the most intimate of celebrations.
The barn has all the space you need to throw the biggest party of your lives; you’ll love the reasonable bar prices, the extensive dancefloor and best of all you can be as noisy as you want! It can be styled as much or as little as you want; personalised with the tiniest of touches or completely re-styled.
Hire includes everything you need, from chairs and tables to a well equipped catering kitchen, including cutlery, crockery and glassware.
Their shepherd’s hut is perfect for couples who would like to say ‘I do’ with the minimum of fuss. The hut has a wood burning stove, rustic pine interior and the wild backdrop of the Grampian Highlands. There’s enough room for eight people and it’s only accessible by 4WD. So they’ll give you a lift!
They have two outstanding in-house wedding coordinators, Rachael and Claire. They can offer advice throughout your wedding planning and will be there on the day to coordinate your wedding and ensure everything runs smoothly.
