Just wanted to send a message to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We were blown away by how beautiful the area we were using was and how amazing the food was. Such attention to detail made our day even more special. Please could you pass on our thanks to everyone involved and thank you again for making it so special.

Dear The Braeside Team, J and I find it hard to put into words exactly how much we felt that Braeside added to our special day. Your whole team from the servers at the feasts to the bar staff were superb. You were all welcoming, but unobtrusive, hands on, but discreet. You left nothing to chance, and it all went like clockwork. We were, of course, blessed with unexpected fabulous weather – perhaps you even ordered that too! Our little suite of rooms set aside for the bride and groom’s party with intercommunicating doors was perfect and the wonderful view and balcony to chill out on and take pictures. The rooms were beautifully dressed for the occasion with lots of little touches to make us all welcome. For example, tea and coffee was served by a lovely real live person and a pretty greeting card with very welcome gift of quality tea mugs with our initials was so thoughtful. We are using them straightaway. We enjoyed having the whole ground floor of your lovely Art Nouveau building to ourselves and it was great having the comfy lounge for guests to take a breather and chill out in between dancing at the disco in the Library or chatting at the intimate little bar which the non dancers really said made it for them, as they could watch the dancing as well. The lighting was spot on with discreet digital enhancement which really made it. The entrance hall was a picture with the drapes and decorations on the main staircase. I was staggered how much you had eliminated the look of everyday, and the fact that during the week it is, after all, an education centre. It was totally transformed to a beautiful house for the wedding. The newly decorated Rose Room so light and airy with its pretty delicate sage green wall colour, creamy accessories was also a delight with sun streaming in and the white chairs and it all was perfect for the actual ceremony with everyone facing the beautiful windows looking onto the garden. You have done a great job in there. Later when you changed its personality for the piano cabaret we all enjoyed, was a lovely intimate setting for that too. Your staff were always on hand if needed with a smile and instant help. Please thank them from J and I. I don’t know how you managed it but the dining room was such a transformation from its daytime use. Our afternoon tea was superb and everyone enjoyed it. A special mention must be made for our chef in the evening. His passion for his cooking came across and even though we thought we were stuffed from all the afternoon tea goodies, when it came to it, the gorgeous aromas of the hot street food gave us all renewed appetite, and I for one could not resist seconds! I will certainly spread the word that Devizes has a superb venue for weddings now, and in fact, for any celebration. Well done to you all and again thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
