About Capesthorne Hall

Set in over 100 acres of Cheshire countryside and with over three hundred years of history, Capesthorne Hall is a truly exceptional venue for your wedding day.

With stunning interiors and incredible lakeside gardens, the venue is ideal for both your ceremony and wedding reception.

There are two venue hire options available, both with exclusive use;

The Main Hall and Lakeside, or

The Lakeside Only

Alternatively, for a more contemporary wedding, there is the option to hold your ceremony outdoors in one of the stunning settings within the grounds.

The incredible architecture and impressive state rooms of the Main Hall provide an amazing and unique setting for your big day.

The Lakeside is a more contemporary space and has spectacular views over the formal gardens and lake.

Civil Ceremony - Main Hall (100) or Lakeside (160)

Wedding Breakfast - Main Hall (80) or Lakeside (160)

Evening Reception - Lakeside (180)

For larger guest numbers, a bespoke marquee can be hired in.

 

Accommodation

Luxury on-site accommodation is available for up to twenty-four guests and is set within the formal and walled gardens adjacent to the lake.

    We would 5* recommend Capesthorne Hall as a wedding venue. When my husband and I first visited we knew this was the venue for us. We loved the mix of the stately hall and more modern Lakeside. The grounds are stunning and there are so many great spots for photos! The events team were fabulous and know exactly what they are doing. We initially met Lucy and later Lynn, both were lovely and very communicative. You could tell the team are very experienced at coordinating weddings and we felt very relaxed during the run up and on the big day itself. They really do go above and beyond and think of everything. We also used the on-site accommodation which is done up to a high standard and reasonably priced. Our guests loved staying there and it was great to sit by the lake and debrief with everyone in the morning. Thank you so much to the whole team!

    From when we first saw Capesthorne Hall, we fell in love with it. It is the most beautiful place and we knew it would be perfect for our wedding. Our wedding coordinator was incredible from the moment we met her. Everything from organising times we could see the venue, being a friendly voice on the phone, advising us about all things wedding to accommodating our requests, nothing was too much trouble. Leading up to the wedding, our wedding coordinator was extremely organised which makes a brides life so much easier! The attention to detail with everything was immaculate. Our wedding day ran so smoothly and that was largely down to the Capesthorne staff. Such professional and friendly people who are so lovely!
