Description
Surround yourself in over 500 years of history in one of Britain’s most significant medieval venues.
Set within the beautiful grounds of Hatfield Park resides the original home of Queen Elizabeth I – The Old Palace. As you walk into the historic building, its high ceilings, impressive tapestries, and open space lends itself to endless possibilities. Guests can explore the private Knot Garden during the drinks reception and immerse themselves in tranquillity, strolling around the mazed hedges and raised lawn with a glass in hand. With Hatfield House a stone’s throw away from the garden it offers unique photo opportunities to last a lifetime.
Our other venue, The Riding School, is located in the quaint Stable Yard. Its original purpose was to accommodate the horses and families motor cars, but it has since been transformed offering a contemporary, alternative venue blending history with modern architecture. With original wood beams remaining throughout the glass roof floods the space with natural daylight and the mezzanine level adds a versatile aesthetic perfect for ceremonies and drinks receptions.
Our award-winning and friendly team are available to discuss what’s on offer from our Gold & Platinum Packages in the Old Palace to our All Inclusive in the Riding School. Each one can be made bespoke to suit your requirements.
