About National Centre for Early Music

We are delighted that you are considering the National Centre for Early Music (NCEM) as a venue for your celebration. The backdrop for your day will be our medieval Grade One listed converted church of St Margaret’s in the heart of Walmgate, York. We are an accessible and fully inclusive venue. 

Surrounded by beautiful private gardens for you and your guests to enjoy our quiet corner of York.

    The process of arranging our wedding at the NCEM was seamless from start to finish. Staff could not have been more accommodating and the venue was absolutely stunning. It made for a relaxed and comfortable setting for the day and plenty of space for our guests. Thank you to Emily, India and Chris for helping to make our wedding day perfect.
