Description
When you discover Nymans, you will see that it is easy to lose yourself in the peaceful country setting. With hundreds of fantastic locations for you and your guests to explore on the day, surprises are revealed around each corner.
Serene walled gardens lead into rolling meadows whilst narrow paths deliver long views of formal topiary and clipped lawns.
Our Loggia, licensed for wedding ceremonies,is a beautiful gothic building with soaring arches and roseclad walls set within the Sunk Garden itself containing striking floral displays.
With the dramatic ruins as it’s backdrop, the house at Nymans, the Gothic mansion built in the 1920s, was destroyed by fire, leaving a breathtaking collection of ruins which frame the skyline. Ivy covered stone and arched windows mean this is a formidable feature of the gardens.
Intimate ceremonies of 30 guests can take place inside the Loggia or, for larger congregations, an unlimited number of additional guests can be seated in the Loggia’s secluded lawns. The Sunk Garden lends itself perfectly for champagne and canapé receptions after your ceremony.
There is also the option to hold your evening reception with us. Built in the 1920s our stable block has been sympathetically restored, keeping lots of original features, to become our Riding House Restaurant.
Your wedding breakfast will take place inside where 85 guests can be seated comfortably downstairs with 130 standing. There is an additional mezzanine level area where 44 guests can be seated.
There is an additional private courtyard outside the restaurant which is yours to use for the duration of your wedding.
