About Old Rectory House

Old Rectory House is a Grade II listed, former Rectory with a wealth of historical connections.

The Doomsday Book lists a building on this site in 1086.

The current house was completely modernised in 1812, with the Georgian façade being added to the front of the original Elizabethan building.

Now a privately-owned venue, the moment you arrive at the entrance to our award-winning venue and sweeping carriage driveway, we want you to truly feel at home in our home.

Every wedding we host at Old Rectory House is unique. The house offers you a variety of rooms for your wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast meal for a maximum of 80 guests, and the space to host up to 150 of your friends and family for your evening celebrations.

On your wedding day we will close the gates to any other visitors, giving you exclusive use of the whole venue and allowing you to share your special day with the people who mean the most to you.

Our award-winning venue was voted as the West Midlands Historic Building of the year 2022, at the prestigious Wedding Industry Awards.

Thank you so, so much for hosting us and all our guests at Old Rectory House. Everyone has had so many good things to say about the venue, and we're glad they loved it as much as we do. It holds a special place in our hearts now, but I think what makes it really special is you and the whole team there. You (Becci) and Lisa were absolutely brilliant, and we knew we were in safe hands the whole time. The waiting staff were fantastic too, and the morning after when we poked our heads into the kitchen to say thank you, we saw one of my (Charlotte's) old friends from school, Sarah, had made our meals the day before!! Please pass on our thanks to everyone there!

First off, we just wanted to say a huge thanks to you, Lisa and all the staff who were involved in our wedding. We had an incredible day and everyone at Old Rectory House was super helpful and helped make the day the huge success it was. The building and grounds looked absolutely stunning, and we had so, so many guests saying how lovely the venue was. Thanks again for all that you and all the staff there did to make our day as wonderful as it was!

Lisa and Becci were outstanding in delivering the most magical day for our wedding.Every detail and wish was catered for and we could not have asked for more. They really went above and beyond. Anything I was worried about Becci soon answered and took away any worries! My morning getting ready in their fabulous room was so relaxing and easy and not once was I asked anything to do with the set up. And not one thing was out of place! Lisa worked her socks off and nothing was too much trouble. If you want a magical day with amazing food and the most relaxing and fun atmosphere then this is your place and Lisa and Becci are the people who will deliver!Thank you for the best day of my life!

My husband and I got married at the Old Rectory House hotel in September and had the best time celebrating with our friends and family.Becci and Lisa were great from the beginning and made the whole experience smooth.Great food, reasonably priced and lovely intimate venue. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to book a wedding in Redditch.

We had our wedding here on the 11th November 2022 and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.The ladies at Old Rectory House were there to answer any questions and help where they could.Lisa, the manager was a god send on the day and the night before, putting me at ease and being there to help us with various bits and bobs. Becci was also great on email when I needed to check measurements etc.The venue itself is utterly charming, it's perfect for an intimate wedding or family event. The decor is an absolute delight and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable - everyone was impressed. It was so beautiful. The whole day was orchestrated for us with professionalism and charm; they bossed (in the nicest sense of the word) people around for me, basically and nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible, the choices all sounded delicious, it was very hard for us to choose! All in all, an incredibly emotional and perfect day!
