We had our wedding here in May. I can't fault Sudbury House, and that's saying something as I am a control, perfectionistic freak.Sadly due to losing my brother in Feb '22, we had to postpone our wedding. Sudbury House were very understanding, accommodating, professional and so caring. I felt Natalie and the team understood any worries and concerns I had and were able to empathise and problem-solve in the run-up. Never did I feel that things were not in hand, and my now husband even commented on how great Natalie and team at Sudbury House were.The execution of the table decor, the theme I had gone with, and everything I'd taken to the venue, was put together beautifully. I was in awe when I saw it all come together. It showed that the team had really listened to me.The food was spot on. There were no complaints which speaks volumes as usually someone always moans at a wedding lol. The canapes were enjoyed by all and nobody was hungry at our wedding for sure!! The wedding breakfast and the evening fish n chips were delicious; everybody really enjoyed the fish n chips! Sudbury House managed to accommodate a severe nut allergy, vegans a guest that was both vegan and gluten free, and my daughter who is arfid. How amazing is that?!The team worked so hard to make our day wonderful. I am so grateful to Sudbury House for pulling it off, and making our day run smoothly; it was so enjoyable for all of us!The hotel is clean, beautiful and has so much character. The grounds are beautiful and spacious. Each time I visited in the run up to the wedding, I sensed calmness. The staff are lovely, polite and could not do enough for all guests. I'll certainly be returning, as will our parents who have grown fond of the venue.As I said at the start of my review, I can't fault Sudbury House. If you're wondering if this is a great wedding venue, then I can honestly say I'd recommend Sudbury House. I do not know how I came across it however I am so glad I did! If we were able to do our wedding again, I'd happily go back to Sudbury House! We got married at Sudbury House In June 2022 and from start to finish we definitely made the right choice. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was not too much trouble. The food was to die for and everyone commented on how tasty the food was and there was plenty of it, not a hard carrot in sight. I was so very relaxed and stress free knowing all was taken care off. The bedroom was beautiful and the room was amazing. We both had an amazing day at Sudbury house and we would not hesitate to use them again. Beautiful venue and beautiful people, thank you x

Natalie and the team went above and beyond to make our special day go so smoothly and perfectly for us. Words cannot express how grateful we are to Natalie and Jane and all the staff at the hotel for everything they did. It really was a perfect experience from start to finish and every little thing had been thought of and taken care of. The food also was brilliant, the waiting service fabulous and everything was done exactly how I had hoped. Restaurant 56 was the perfect location for both the ceremony and the wedding breakfast, the gardens and patio gave us a lovely location for our drinks and canapés and the perfect backdrop for all our photos and the fact that Allan the cat turned up was just the icing on the cake! Moving to the Magnolia for the evening do made it feel like we had a second venue and party! Staying at the hotel (in the deluxe suite which was a delight!) with a load of our guests on the night of our wedding meant it was so relaxing and then to come down the next morning to find that the hotel had set up a special area within the dining room specifically for the wedding guests to eat breakfast together was such a lovely surprise. Everyone who attended the wedding has commented many times on just how beautiful the hotel is, what a perfect wedding venue and just how smoothly the whole event was run. We cannot recommend this as a wedding venue highly enough. We have been given the perfect day with so many special memories, a day we will never forget for all the right reasons!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here in June and we had a great day! The Old House venue was really lovely, and the patio for the outside ceremony was an added bonus, especially as the sun shone. The staff were very attentive and everything ran very smoothly, the food was delicious and we and our guests enjoyed a comfortable overnight stay and a hearty breakfast the following morning. Thank you to everyone who made it such a great event!
