About Tewin Country Weddings

Tewin Country Weddings is a family run business set on the grounds of a working farm in Tewin, Hertfordshire.  We have a 3 pole traditional fully lined marquee which is located in a grassland field.  You can see horses, cows and goats in the neighbouring fields along with wild flowers. Beautiful Red Kites can often be seen flying above the farm most days.

 

You will have exclusive use of the marquee and field.  We do not hold weddings back to back, so this means that you are able to start setting up the marquee for your wedding on the Monday of the week running up to your wedding day.  The marquee is a blank canvas and therefore you are able to decorate as much or as little as you wish, including the surrounding garden area. We will be on hand to assist with any decorations that may need hanging.

 

We are happy to recommend some amazing caterers, entertainment and photographers, but you are also able to source your own suppliers if you wish.  The quotes include power (generator), mobile luxury toilets, inside bar and bar staff.  We also have 2 fire pits including logs, but this is weather permitting, as we don't light these when we are having extreme heat due to the risk of fire.  You will also have the option to camp overnight with your guests if you wish.

    We have a fantastic venue that is set is the most idillic surroundings in the Hertfordshire Countryside. You will have full access to the site 7 days prior to your wedding to help make sure you are not rushed in your wedding preparations. We are very exclusive as we only hold a small number of weddings a year but we have a very competitive wedding packages with no hidden extras. We have a fantastic team of staff who take great pride in our venue and what’s on offer. Our wedding packages include the marquee, power, luxury toilets, bar and fridges, bar staff, fire pits and logs. With festoon lighting, fairy lights above the dance floor and you can bring in external suppliers. Contact us to see our real hidden gem.
